CURRENT OPENINGS
SHEPHERD'S FLOCK PRESCHOOL TEACHER Full Time, Monday - Fridays, 7am-3pm (40 hrs/week min)
Reports to Director of Shepherd's Flock PreschoolÂ

We offer physical, intellectual, emotional, social, and spiritual nurturing in a safe, Christian environment. We are seeking a Preschool Teacher to join our organization. Shepherd's Flock Preschool has openings for 2 full-time Preschool Teachers, teaching children ages 3-4 years old in our established full day preschool program.Â
JOB RESPONSIBILITIESÂ
Develops and instructs preschool-aged children in lessons and activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth.Â
Creates a fun and safe learning environment.Â
Develops schedules and routines to ensure adequate lessons, physical activity, rest, and playtime.Â
Maintains the health and safety of students at all times.Â
Maintains a clean and well-arranged classroom according to the Department of Human Services rules.Â
Participates in the Fall classroom set-up and Spring take down.Â
Attends monthly preschool staff meetings.Â
Completes all required yearly in-service and training hours, including First Aid and CPR.Â
Builds working relationships and partnerships with families.Â
Implements individual education plans, individual behavior plans, and health plans as needed.Â
Implements Department of Human Services rules.Â
Attends and participates in all family events held throughout the school year.Â
Attends and participates in Open Houses.Â
Performs other duties as assigned by Director.Â
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or like degreeÂ
OR Teacher Qualified according to Department of Human ServicesÂ
OR Assistant Teacher Qualified according to Department of Human Services
EXPERIENCE
Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields.Â
Passionate about working with preschool-aged children.Â
Ability to build rapport with preschoolers and work collaboratively with their families.Â
Ability to co-teach and provide a nurturing classroom environment.Â
Positive and patient demeanor and able to respond appropriately to children's needs.Â
Ability to plan developmentally appropriate activities.Â
Ability to share your faith with children.Â
Good oral and written communication skills.Â
PAY
Hourly wage starting at $19.00 per hourÂ
Paid holidays, compensation for lesson planning and prepping hours, paid training hours, qualify for 401k matching program after 90 days of employment.Â

Shepherd's Flock Preschool has an opening for a part-time Preschool Teacher, teaching children ages 4-5 years old in our established full day preschool program.Â
